Victoria Elizabeth

Victoria is a legal strategist, scientist, environmental justice advocate, and climate communicator who transforms complex challenges into compelling narratives and actionable solutions.

Victoria is a Co-Project Manager and Co-Executive Director of the Future Generations Tribunal. Hailing from Georgia with family roots in Saratoga Springs, New York, Victoria is a dynamic force at the intersection of environmental sustainability, law, and justice.

She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a double major in Biology and Urban & Environmental Sustainability, complemented by a minor in Law & Ethics. Her academic journey culminated in a thesis exploring the nexus of race, air pollution, and COVID-19 vaccine distribution in NYC's five boroughs within the context of climate change.

While in New York, Victoria worked with Our Climate and NY Renews, advocating for equitable environmental justice climate law. Recently graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law with a concentration in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, she also focused on local and state land use and public policy. She served as a Sustainable Land Use Fellow and Westling Environmental Justice Fellow, deepening her commitment to addressing environmental justice issues, particularly through the lens of public health.

Victoria has protested, reported, and spoken on stage and panels at several conferences, including COPs, SBs, Climate Weeks, and other legal and community organizing events.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Victoria channels her passion for environmental justice through independent intersectional content creation. She has created content for platforms like Action for the Climate Emergency and Black Girl Environmentalist, using blogs, short stories, graphics, poetry, and videos to convey the urgency of environmental justice issues.

With a background in musical theatre, being on stage has always been second nature to me. I’ve honed my voice as a speaker, moderator, and activist—using storytelling and advocacy to drive action and change.
